Check out these highlights for our upcoming update to Simplifile Collaboration and Post Closing. These changes should go live Monday evening, Dec. 10 and will be available for customer testing beginning Thursday, Dec. 6.
New status updates for closing documents.
As you move through closing documents, you’ll now see helpful status updates, including: pending upload, download, needs review, and more. There are different status workflows depending on if the document requires an electronic or ink singing.
Here is an example of electronic workflow statuses.
Here is an example of ink workflow statuses.
Pre-Close page is the new default on login.
To improve your experience, you’ll be placed into the Pre-Close page when you log into Simplifile.
If you’d prefer to start on a different page, you can change the default in Settings.
You can now see alerts for executed lender package page counts.
If you’re using Simplifile e-closing services, Simplifile will now review your closing package page counts to ensure a match between the executed lender package and the closing pre-signed documents. If page counts match, you’ll see, “Looks like your package has all the closing pages!" If the page counts do not match, you’ll see a message telling you the discrepancy. At this time, you’ll only see this message on the Documents page.
Add third-parties to a loan and edit their information.
You can now add third-parties to the loan beyond title companies. On the Loan Info page, simply Add Third Party under Third Party Info to add a contact to the loan. Some contact information may already be syncing from your system of record. You can also view and edit information concerning the third-party directly under Contacts.
LendingQB sign-on and usability is simpler.
LendingQB customers will find a more streamlined sign-on process and better load times with Simplifile. You will also see a message when trying to leave a page before the loan loads indicating you will not be able to access the loan in Simplifile if you leave before it finishes loading.
Export Listed or Selected View of filtered work queues.
Settlement agents can now export from the list of loans, either all or selected. This feature has been available for lender customers.
