Check out these highlights for our upcoming update to Simplifile Collaboration and Post Closing. These changes should go live Monday evening, Jan. 7 and will be available for customer testing beginning Friday, Jan. 4.
NEW: Subscribe to notifications based on document type and loan status.
You’ll find new filters under Loan Notifications for documents that are uploaded or downloaded. Choose to be notified about specific document types by email or in app to move through the loan collaboration process quicker than before.
You’ll find a new filter in Loan Notifications for loan status changes as well. Choose to be notified by a specific status event on the loan so you can take action as soon as possible.
You also now have the option for a “delayed” email that combines notifications into one message when you’d like to see it.
Activity log now displays message types.
You’ll now see specific message types on the Activity page. This information provides more clarity on the history of messages for a loan. For example, if a user writes a message to the collaborator on a specific document on the Documents page, the activity log will show "Add Message: Doc Message."
Items on the Disclosures page now highlighted based on actions.
When you hover your cursor over an item in Disclosures, it will now show a highlighted color based on the state of the fee. This will help you identify which fees need action.
- Fees that are flagged for deletion display a red highlight when the mouse hovers over it.
- Fees that are edited and need approval display a blue highlight when the mouse hovers over it.
- Fees that are needing approval display a green highlight when the mouse hovers over it.
Search remembers your most recent loans.
When you use the Search Loans tool, you’ll now see the last five loans that were worked on. This gives you quicker access to the loans you’re working on now.
Additional settlement organization matching to happen on loan updates.
To improve how Simplifile auto-assigns settlement companies to loans, we are now running an additional matching process on a loan if certain UCD updates occur for the settlement organization contact. Previously, this matching process only occurred when a loan was created.
Contact your account manager for more details.
